GRAPHENSTONE certifies its products for sustainable eco-building with QPRODUCTS models
It has begun the process of the product certifications made at Graphenstone’s factory in Viso del Alcor, Seville. To this end, a rigorous analysis of their life cycle and their effect on CO2 absorption will be established in order to guarantee their effectiveness and sustainability.
QSOSTENIBLE is the Spanish standard, developed by Spanish universities in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment (Biodiversity Foundation) and the European Union, between 2002-2006 and which does not imply an adaptation of construction standards from other countries, but rather adjusts to the construction model of the territory. At present, companies such as Grupo Osborne, Ilunion, MC Mutual, Atlantic Copper, Cepsa, Coviran, Mutualia, Asepeyo, Bankia (BMN), Caja Rural del Sur, Hidralia, among other companies, as well as more than 1,000 VPO homes certified in sustainability, already meet efficiency and sustainability criteria.
Graphenstone is the result of a young man’s commitment to develop natural, ecological and healthy products. Antonio León Jiménez is the President and Chief Technology Officer at Graphenstone, which decided to lay the first stone with the creation of IEdiSA in 2009, the company where all started. The first range of paints and coatings with graphenstone technology it was distribuited at that time. In October 2013 Graphenstone was born obtaining a unique and innovative product worldwide that is respectful with the environment and beneficial for people. Since then work has continued to create healthier and more sustainable paints and coatings.
