Converse Celebrates the Diversity, Duality and Vibrancy of Heritage Around The Globe By Expanding \u00abConverse City Forests\u00bb Project to Celebrate Local Roots<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Fall,\u00a0Converse is expanding its \u00abConverse City Forests\u00bb<\/strong> campaign around the globe, celebrating and highlighting the importance of cultural roots through sustainable art.\u00a0The street art campaign, which first launched in August 2019, is a celebration of creatives and an artistic medium for social progress. The campaign ladders up to the brand’s vision of creating with intent, championing ideas that accelerate progress, with an urgency and focus on where the world needs change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of our global Converse All Stars community of creatives have partnered with Converse to paint murals in cities across the world using Graphenstone paint<\/span>, which absorbs carbon dioxide to clean the surrounding air. Each mural celebrates the cultural roots of the country and its people, through the vision of the artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the vision of local creatives, Converse believes that self-expression and art have the power to reflect the current times, provoke dialogue, and build bridges between us.
