We are delighted to be the Paint Partner of the Eye of the Collector exhibition. Here we interview its founder, Nazy Vassegh, who offers her vision and experiences that shaped this event.

GRAPHENSTONE AUSTRALIA
Evolution of Paint – The Graphenstone Age Has Arrived
The perfect mix. Ecological paints that purify the air to create a healthy environment.
With an eye on the past we looked at high purity lime and minerals and how these materials interacted with the natural environment. Providing carbon dioxide absorption, breathability, mild anti-bacterial and insecticide benefits.
Looking beyond today, we reduced or replaced the reliance on synthetic polymers. Developing a new support structure from a carbon based nanoparticle, graphene. This material is naturally sourced which provides strength, flexibility and durability. Creating paints that are low in toxicity which offer unparalleled functionality and environmental benefits.
Redefine & Challenge the way you think about paint
We looked at how paints were made thousands of years ago. How natural minerals and binders were used. We compared them to how paints of today are made, with plastic based binders and harmful additives.
Graphenstone paints are based on a simple philosophy
“In order to provide ecological paints for the future they must be made with natural, sustainable resources that benefit the environment and everyone who lives in it. Reducing or eliminating the need for synthetic polymers while providing functional benefits to purify the air”. Gareth Connell, Specialised Product Manager, Nutech Graphenstone ANZ
